Faculty Advisors
Each student should choose a faculty advisor within the Department as soon as possible after entering an NuFS/Pkg degree program. Choosing an advisor in the Department of Nutrition, Food Science, and Packaging depends on the student's needs. There are advisors for each concentration (see list below), as well as an advisor who specializes in the SJSU internal Dietetic Internship and who specializes in the American Dietetic Association requirements for the Didactic Program in Dietetics (DPD).

Student (Peer) Advisors
The NuFS/Pkg Department trains both senior and graduate students to act as peer advisors. Please see the above pdf file for the current semester's drop-in student advisor schedule. Both bachelors and masters students are welcome.
