San Jose State Cal-Pro-NET 2014-2015 Child Nutrition Training Opportunities:


Financial Management Level 1

In the 2014-15 school year we will be offering Financial Management Level 1 courses at three locations. The El Monte course will be held on October 9 and 10, 2014; the Sacramento course on January 22 and 23, 2015; and the Bakersfield course on February 12 and 13, 2015. Registration information is available here.

Child Nutrition Program Administration (CNPA)

CNPA or the New Director's Course will be offered twice in the summer of 2015. Course topics include:

  •  Federal and State Regulations
  •  Fiscal Systems
  •  Student Nutrition and Wellness Policies
  •  Sanitation and Food Safety
  •  Human Resources Management
  •  Marketing Practices

The course will be held in the Ontario area June 15-19, 2015 and in the Sacramento area July 20-24, 2015. Registration information will be available winter 2015.


School Nutrition Program (SNP) Online Mandatory Training

This training is an annual training required for sponsors on the National School Lunch Program. The 2014-15 training is currently under revision. The 2013-14 Modules can be accessed here. Please be advised that some of the material in the 2013-14 Modules may be outdated.


Summer Food Service Program (SFSP) Online Mandatory Training

This training is an annual training required for sponsors using the SFSP service for summer feeding programs. The 2015 training is currently under revision. The 2014 Modules can be accessed here. Please be advised that some of the material in the 2014 Modules may be outdated.

Note : Most Cal-Pro-NET courses and workshops provide Continuing Education Units for the California School Nutrition Association and/or the California Dietetic Association to eligible participants.
