San Jose State Cal-Pro-NET 2013-2014 Child Nutrition Training Opportunities:
- The Cal Pro NET Center at San Jose State University provides Financial Management Level I, a two-day introductory course for new directors, supervisors, managers, and accounting personnel. The course curriculum is from the National Food Service Management Institute (NFSMI) and is augmented with topics such as U.S. Department of Agriculture (USDA) Foods Entitlement, Indirect Costs, Paid Lunch Equity, and Non-Program Foods Revenue.
Courses will be available at four (4) locations in Fall/Winter 2013/14. Registration information is available here [PDF].
- The Cal Pro NET Center at San Jose State University conducts two (2) Child Nutrition Program Administration Courses each summer. One will be held in Southern California in June 2014 and one in Northern California in July 2014. Course topics include:
Federal and State Regulations
Student Nutrition and Wellness Policies
Sanitation and Food Safety
Human Resources Management
