Internal Dietetic Internship Prerequisite Coursework for Undergraduates

An additional 13 units, approximately five classes of course work beyond the bachelor's degree requirements and the 18-24 units of NuFS 280A must be taken before starting the internal Dietetic Internship.

Of the five additional classes required, three are graduate level courses (200-level series). To take the graduate level courses for graduate credit, according to the 1993 Advisor's Resource Book, "undergraduates must be within 14 units of graduating, have a 2.5 GPA in SJSU upper division coursework, have applied for graduation, and not need any of the petitioned coursework for graduation" (p. III-5). Graduate level classes (200-level classes) may count for a master's degree by filling out a Request for Award of Graduate Credit form beforehand, available from Graduate Studies.
