1 Developmental Accreditation by the Commission on Accreditation for Dietetics Education of the American Dietetic Association. Graduate student or transfer student opting for a deitetic internship needs to have your transcript evaluated at the beginning of your program. For an official Didactic Program in Dietetics (DPD) transcript evaluation, please see Dr. Nancy Lu, DPD Director, CCB 106, (408) 924-3109. To obtain the DPD Verification, you must submit an official transcript indicating your BS degree and all courses required for the DPD.

An additional 2 units of upper division chemistry are required to complete the minor, as well as a chemical safety course (1 unit). NuFS majors are exempt from the General Education requirement because a minimum of 15 units of science are completed.
