Transfer Information and Residence Requirements When transferring from a two-year college, up to 70 units maximum may be applied towards the bachelor's degree, depending on SJSU's transfer requirements. When transferring from some foreign or unaccredited institutions, units may be applied only as electives. Consult the Credit Summary which provides more information regarding foreign or unaccredited institutions. The NuFS Department office, room CCB 200, has an articulation book available for referencing of classes between institutions. To graduate from SJSU, transfer students must have 20 units in residence from SJSU:
Open University and Continuing Education units will not count for residence status, but some Summer and Winter session units may count. See an advisor for more information. All advanced GE must be taken at SJSU. |
