Instructors and students work together and try to obtain interesting field experience locations for the student. Each unit of NuFS 192 requires a minimum of three hours of work per week. The usual requirement for students enrolled in NuFS 192 if two units, that is six hours per week or 90 hours per semester. Grading for NuFS 192 is credit/no credit.

Prerequisites for NuFS 192

Students must have senior standing and must contact a NuFS instructor during advising week in the semester prior to when the student plans to begin NuFS 192. Students are also encouraged to become informed about the organization to which they apply for field experience, before the interview.
